Awareness program for Western Provincial Council officials on the “Clean Sri Lanka” program
A workshop to inform officials of the Western Provincial Council regarding the nationwide “Clean Sri Lanka” program, as envisioned by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, was held at the Western Provincial Council building. The session was attended by the Governor of the Western Provincial Hanif Yusoof, Chief Secretary of the Western Provincial Council, the Secretary to the Western Provincial Governor, and other officials. Senior officials from the President’s Secretariat, including the Senior Assistant Secretary, were also present to provide expertise. The primary objectives of the workshop were to inform officials of the Western Provincial Council about integrating the annual development programs of the Council into the “Clean Sri Lanka” program and incorporate public suggestions into the initiative.
