Meeting between the Permanent Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Ms. Azusa Kubota and the Governor of the Western Province
A meeting between UNDP Resident Representative Azusa Kubota and Western Province Governor Hanif Yusoof was held at the Governor’s Office in Colombo.
Ms. Kubota commended the Sri Lankan government’s ongoing efforts to combat corruption and expressed the UNDP’s commitment to supporting the country’s development goals. Governor Yusoof expressed his gratitude for the UNDP’s contributions to Sri Lanka in multiple areas.
Governor Yusoof further emphasized the importance of international partnerships in achieving the western province’s development objectives and requested the UNDP’s continued support in this regard.
