High Commissioner of Bangladesh & Governor of the Western Province Exchange Views
The High Commissioner of the People’s Republic for Bangladesh in Sri Lanka, His Excellency Tareq Md Ariful Islam paid a courtesy call on the Governor of the Western Province, Marshal of the Air Force Roshan Goonetileke on Thursday (3) August at the Western Provincial Council Office at Battaramulla.
During cordial discussions that ensued, both of them recalled friendly and sound relations that exist between both nations for so many years as well as ongoing exchange programs, related particularly to the participation of armed forces in varied training programs and other pertinent exchange modules of bilateral importance.
He left memories in the visitors’ book at the Governor’s Office as well.
The cordial meeting culminated with the exchange of mementos. The Secretary to the His Excellency and other Officials from the Governor’s Officer were also associated with the courtesy meeting.
