A meeting between Mrs. Julie Chang, the American Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Mr. Hanif Yusoof, the Governor of the Western Province took place on the 22nd of October at the Governor’s Office.

 

Several important bilateral matters were discussed, during which the Governor brought the American Ambassador’s attention to the issues surrounding the development of the Western Province and the need for solutions to the identified challenges. Special emphasis was placed on the mutual relationship between the two countries.
