Director General of the Urban Development Authority Mr. Prasad Ranaweera, together with his team, paid a visit to the Governor’s Office to present an online application titled ‘Development Approval Portal.’

This innovative Application aims at creating an efficient system beneficial to the public by digitizing planning approvals with regards to land, buildings and other matters pertinent to the UDA.

Discussions were held with the hope of implementing the pilot project within the Western Province and to expand thereafter.
