The Gampaha District Hospital had been in dire need of a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU), especially considering the current Covid19 pandemic situation. Due to the urgency, 45 men of the Sri Lanka Air Force launched a special operation to build and handover a fully fledged ICU at this hospital in just 14 days!
