As a part of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s policy of Inclusive Governance, 360 homeless people from the streets of Colombo were gathered and sent to a special camp to be cared for during the Covid19 outbreak. They will then be rehabilitated in a manner where they could contribute back to society. The project was carried out by the Sri Lanka Police on instructions of the Governor of the Western Province.
